Galapagos Trip is Sold Out, BUT...
...we've got lots of other exciting
trips coming up! We just added a 2008 trip to Papua New Guinea!
This trip is still in the planning phase, but considering our
Galapagos trip SOLD OUT in less than two weeks, you might want
to get on the mailing list now to secure
your spot. Our target travel dates are around October/November
2008 and we plan to visit Tawali Resort and tour the Sepic Region
of the PNG highlands via live-aboard.
We also have confirmed our reservations aboard
the Truk Odyssey for May 4-11, 2008. This will be a Digital
Underwater Photo Workshop that will teach you how to photograph
wrecks while being totally blown away by the fact that you're
diving on a WWII artifact that only a handful of people on
this earth will ever have the opportunity to see. The Odyssey
is hands-down, without a doubt, one of the world's most fantastic
live-aboards. This boat is booked up into 2010. Come with us
to see why!
We are also planning more group trips aboard
the Solmar V to Socorro, someplace we just can't get enough
of! Travel dates will be announced soon.

Just Launched - A New Website
for Solmar V
After having made many trips aboard
this amazing live-aboard, we were honored to be asked to
build a new website for the Solmar V, which makes trips to
Socorro, Guadalupe and the Sea of Cortez. The new site includes
all the features you'll typically see on an Under Watercolours
site—amazing photography, virtual tours, original and
clean design and logical navigation—but for this site
we have gone above and beyond.
We have created the first contest of its
kind, the Solmar V Trading Card Treasure Hunt! You can
win a free trip aboard the Solmar V, an Atomic Aquatics scuba
regulator, mask and fins by collecting all 20 trading cards,
which are cleverly hidden all over the Internet. We're also
having a YouTube.com Video Contest, where you can win a FREE
TRIP aboard the Solmar V. Visit the new site at www.SolmarV.com.
Bonnie Featured in American Way
Magazine
December 1, 2006 - American
Way Magazine: Bonnie Pelnar was featured in Suzanne Ely's
article "Making
Things Shipshape" found on page 46-48. Bonnie had
been interviewed by Susan earlier that year. One one small
error...Bonnie has made 27 trips to Cozumel, not 27 logged
dives. Hopefully the article will help to bring divers back
to this lovely island after the devistation of Wilma. Side
note: there is no truth to the rumor that Bonnie is dating
Matthew Fox.

Show

the Solmar V at Guadalue Island (with appearances by Eric,
Andrea & Tim).

Join Bonnie Pelnar at Scuba Club
Cozumel for the 3rd Digital Underwater Photography Workshop
Sunday, February 11 through Friday, February 16

who want to learn more about how to take pictures underwater,
then conduct daily presentations about topics such as "Finding
and Shooting the Cozumel Critters", "Image Composition" and "Digital
Image Manipulation". There will also be hands-on Photoshop
sessions for beginners to advanced users and a photo contest
at the end of the week. Workshop is free for all guests of
Scuba Club Cozumel. Click
here for more information.
